Painting of Love

I just read a quote that made me chuckle since I've been painting these little figuratives.

I once asked Nancy Medina help on writing an artist statement for a show she organized in Flower Mound to benefit the Flower Mound Humane Society. She said I should write "I like painting flowers and things and nekkid people"... LOL

    I'm glad to see that someone has artistic talent - I don't!

    I have a sculptor friend who felt his statement about a show should have been "He puts on a blindfold and then goes wild with a welder and torch. Anything that didn't burn down is here today."
