Trees, Once More

The trees along the horse trails just outside my property are still bare and the remains of a flood we had two years ago scar the trunks. I have a feeling that when Spring comes there will be fewer trees as some will not come back to life; but Spring will come and in a month or so the fields will be full of wildflowers. The bluebonnets seedlings in my front yard are starting to emerge.

  2. Hi Melissa,
How do you like this title? I figured since this was another "trees" painting, I'd call it "once more" : )
I'm so glad you like my blue trees - have a lovely day!

  4. Wow...I believe this is my very favorite piece in your painting so far Judy. The colors work so well and when the eye is drawn to the trunks of the trees it morphs to an abstract wonderland. Gorgeous!

  9. Oh nollyposh - or Vickie? I know that with the fires raging your trees will be in bad shape - I pray the fires will end soon!

  11. This is a painting that really draws you in, it has so much mystery! You found beauty even in scars on tree trunks. I'm glad to hear about your signs of spring in Texas, it gives me hope that spring is on the way.
