It's just the color; I'm not blue. In fact so many interesting things have happened in the past few days that I've no time to be blue except for the fact that I'd not had a chance to blog.

The Artist reception at the Dutch Art Gallery was fantastic!. Thanks to Pam and everyone at the Dutch Art Gallery for putting on a wonderful reception. For me, meeting the other Texas Artists who are a part of the Artists of Texas was a real pleasure. Summertime...hot and steamy. That's the weather here in North Texas after our much needed rain.

I love you! How easy is that? To look your darling in the eye and say "I love you!" Every loving relationship however needs a kick in the pants, a little nurturing, a little pat on the back, a little romance".

A past post on a blog I like to read called "On Simplicity" lists 37 ways to say "I love you". I think these ideas are great if in case you need a little help.

And how about just being nice to the person you love. Don't judge, don't nag, don't second guess - just be nice.

I had dinner with friends last evening. I was wearing Ralph Lauren's perfume "Romance". I love the stuff! When Lanette gave me a hug good-bye she made a big sniffing sound and said "You smell good" which gave me the idea for the title of this latest painting. I love perfumes that make me feel romantic!
