There were so many arched doorways in Italy with flower pots flanking the openings - this one is from a photo I took in Monticchiello in Southern Tuscany, Italy.

"To See You Again" is a nude female figure painting. On this nude painting, I painted only with the brush and did not use the palette knife at all. I used loose brush strokes to achieve a minimal impressionistic realism.

Eventide - Red Rowboat

This is a small painting which I've re-done. I didn't like the way the first one turned out so I worked on it some more. I wanted to keep the colors subdued and soft. I hope I've captured the "quietness" of a lone rowboat that is just waiting. It's 5" x 5" on stretched canvas. Available on Ebay.

Solitude - A Sailboat Painting

Solitude is a small 6" x 6" painting of a solitary sailboat in a fog. Somewhat abstract. I had done several similar paintings of this subject matter in larger sizes and I wanted to try yet another. I love the monotone colors. Very quiet.

Fort Worth Stockyards

Friends from Italy are visiting and staying with us. We took them to see local sights at the Fort Worth Stockyards.

There's a lot to see and it gives that Old West flavor.

We were all painting small art but Suci, on the right is painting a landscape on nine canvases at once.
