A Tribute to Tony

"Tribute to Tony"
8 x 8 inches, Oil on Linen Canvas Board
You've probably heard me mention Tony Saladino who's critique classes I used to go to. This abstract reminded me of him as I played with the colors. The photo might not quite have captured the Ultramarine blue and Cerulean I used in this. My friend told me the two circles seemed like peaches and I guess they do.
I've had a lot of visitors to my two new sites Daily Painters of Georgia and Palette Knife Painters and many have come from my, this, blog. I appreciate your visits and taking a look around. If you are an artist and are either a Georgia Artist or a Palette Knife Artist please join us on the blogs.
The above painting is available for $80.00 - shipping if free if in the U.S.

Two New Blogs

I've been busy lately, though it's no excuse for not posting regularly on this blog, I know...

I've started two new group blogs.

One is the Daily Painters of Georgia and the other Palette Knife Painters.

Is it because I used the palette knife to paint with that I notice more and more palette knife artists? I wanted to bring together a group of palette knife artists to share and showcase our art.

I'm looking for ar tists who either live in Georgia and blog regularly (this blog does have the requirement that the artist must live in Georgia) or a palette knife artist, (this one is for worldwide) to join me in my blog groups. Send me an email with a link to your website or blog if you're interested.

If you're reading this blog but don't live in Georgia and don't use the palette knife - I have a favor to ask you: visit my sites and let me know what you think. I'd appreciate it if you'd become a "follower", leave me a comment, suggestion, advice, your two cents and if you'd share my link with fellow artists.
