Tuscan Painting - Chiesa di San Biagio

We were driving to the train station at Chiusi to meet Papa when as we turned in a wide sweeping bend in the road near Montepulciano a beautiful white colored church suddenly comes into view. We didn't have time to stop that day to visit nor take photos. I regreted not having the time to visit nor learn about the church. The following year as we made our plans to drive from the Dolomites to Pescara, we made a point to stay in Tuscany again so that I could visit this
beautiful Renaisance church sitting in the shadows of Montepulciano. Chiesa di San Biagio.
Oil on board, 6" x 8".
