"Journey"
8 x 8 inches, Oil on Raymar Board, Palette Knife Painting
I've taken quite a long hiatus. I just painted this painting on Friday while painting with my long time Art friend, Nancy Medina at her house. I think this painting seems appropriate to bring me out of my hiatus. I had moved for a short while to live in Northern Atlanta but I've decided to move back to the Dallas Fort Worth area. It's been a wonderful decision and so goo to be back among friends. I do have friends in GA and I've made some new friends but I've lived in TX for nearly a quarter of a century so it feels more like "home" to me.
O.K. now time to roll up my sleeves and get back to painting again!! Or rather, posting, as I have been painting but had let my blogs lag a little so I'll have to do some catching up.

Awww, Judy, we didn't even get a chance to paint together. :-( Maybe I'll have to just come to Texas.... I've missed your work!

Love the sky in this, it's so moody and atmospheric...I feel as if the clouds are sweeping across the sky. Excellent!

I like this one. The road moving on....like all your thick paint. Maine is almost as hot as TX today!
