Wonderment

Last year I took a workshop taught by Robert Moore. For one lesson we used Lamp Black for our blue, Burnt Sienna for our red and yellow ochre for our yellow to paint in a limited palette. Remembering this lesson, I've painted this little daisy yesterday.
"Wonderment" Oil on gessoed board with the palette knife, 5 x 5 inches (15 x 15 cm).

Thanks for the visit to my blog Judy. It's always nice to meet new people. How did you like your workshop with Robert Moore? He was suggested to me in September and I may have a chance to meet him in a couple weeks at an auction in MT.
Happy painting!

He is quiet but a very giving teacher. Explains everything. I was thrilled to attend his workshop as I'd seen his paintings at Jackson Hole, WY. If you've never watched him paint, you're in for a surprise - he paints with both hands - simultaneously!! And he uses both the brush and palettte knife. Very cool!! Thank you for visiting my blog!
