Late Blooms - A Sunflower Painting
It's raining here in Central Texas. The last painting I posted was of a foggy morning. I think a little ray of sun, a touch of warm yellow, is nice on a morning like this.

Pug Dogs
This little painting was inspired by my friend Nancy who volunteers for the DFW Pug Rescue and fosters pugs needing homes. DFW Pug Rescue is celebrating 10 years of saving pugs. Whether it be pugs, special breed or mix, do consider adopting a rescued dog.
I don't know what to name this painting yet.

Beppe Severgnini
What a treat! Yesterday we went to the Italian Club of Dallas to listen to and meet Italian author ("Ciao America" and "La Bella Figura") and journalist for the "Corriere della Sera"Italian Newspaper, Beppe Severgnini.
The painting "Stallions of St. Marks" which is in the photo to the left of Beppe is a painting I did for the Italian Club. I'm honored to have it featured there.

Promise Me You'll Write
I like rowboats. They are a little lonely all by themselves. It's a little cloudy outside today so the melancholic feeling of this painting just seemed right. As I was thinking of the title I was remembering long ago when, really long ago, when I was still a military brat and of friends who'd have to move when their family was transferred. Not much of a connection maybe except for being left alone.
"Promise Me You'll Write", original oil on canvas panel (Raymar), 6 x 6". Thank you for looking!
