Loves Me Not, Loves Me

"Loves Me Not, Loves Me"

$200.00 + s/h

Yesterday the weather here in the DFW area was warm warm warm - AND I wore sandals in February! I don't like the cold and having to wear layers of clothes! I know I have some readers in Australia who are having incredibly warm weather and some of you in the North are hating me for this beautiful weather - but hey - here in Texas we say, "if you don't like the weather - wait 10 minutes"...So we're supposed to have cooler temps today and this morning, the sun has disappeared and it's cloudy...

Aaah but warm, Spring-like weather lifts my spirits and so do Daisies.

My high school alumni friend and artist, Sheila Tajima of California has listed her artwork on Ebay. It's hard to get noticed when you first start on Ebay because of a lack of "feedbacks" from other buyers. I started selling on Ebay about a year and a half ago with the help of my good friend and artist Filomena Booth who has been selling quite successfully on Ebay. She taught me the ropes. She then put a bid on one of my first listings. That bid encouraged other buyers, who were strangers to me, to bid on my paintings. Having bids really is helpful because it turns people who are just looking into buyers. It's that "Ebay psychology".
So if you're reading this, take a moment and check out Sheila's Ebay listing for her cute Affirmation Angels ACEO art listings - Click Here. (Just don't out-bid me I have my eye on a couple of them! - well OK - if you must outbid me...)

Your painting is lifting my spirits.... it's lovely! Our Ohio weather is dampening my spirits however. We're having a lot of grey dreary days! Enjoy your Spring.... I hope ours is not far behind!

Hi Manon, Just had lunch yesterday with a friend who was originally from Ohio and got the weather report there. It's funny because when she arrived for our lunch meeting she showed up in her convertible with top down! But you actually have four seasons - we have "maybe Seasons"
Thank you for leaving me a comment!

Wow Judy! Maybe I should give you 10% as my art agent! Thank you for the mention. I've only been able to do this with your guidance and teachings.

I love those daisies. Such powerful and passionate strokes you make when you paint. The colors and tones with this one are wonderful. HUGS!!

Sheila - thank you - I'm rather pleased with my daisies too...Though I love painting with the brush - I just am happiest with the free-ness of a palette and the gobs of paint : )
Cheers,

Judy

WOW, this painting is stunning! I love your thick paint and bold colors! The composition is great too. I'm adding your blog to the blogs I follow.

And your info. about Ebay was very interesting. I've never had much luck there probably because I had no idea what I was doing. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Judy,
These daisies are just wondeful... Light and fresh and happy...
Can a painting be happy??
I think maybe if it makes the viewer smile... it's a happy painting.

By the way.... your add to cart button didn't seem to work for me?
Does that mean it's already sold or that it just doesn't work...
Was it a listing on eBay???

Hi Marian - I just checked and you're right - the Paypal button is weird.
I wonder what's up with that.
The daisies are not sold, though.
You can always write me at judy@judymackey.com
Thank you!!
