Serene Chaos - a painting of irises

I'm giving my paintbrushes a break and picked up the palette knife to paint. I know the title of this painting is a little bit of any oxymoron like "jumbo shrimp" but sometimes a word gets stuck in one's mind and the word for me has been "chaos". It's almost like a song that you hear over and over in your mind and can't get rid of until you try ever so hard to sing another song...
I'm looking at my desk - it's a chaos...I think I'll need to do some filing to get my mind off this word. But until I find another word to obsess about, this painting of a profusion of irises is titled:
"Serene Chaos"
10 x 8 inches, Oil on Raymar
$60.00 + s/h

Wow Judy! another masterpiece. I was in a gallery in Scottsdale and there was a painting there that reminded me of your work, only yours was much better.

Love the Irises. I like the paint nice and thick too, almost out of control. It kind of goes with your title.

Beautiful. What you accomplished with a palette knife, simply wonderful.
