White Flowers on Gray - Palette Knife Oil Painting Judy Mackey

"White Flowers on Gray"
6 x 6 inches, Oil on Gray
I've been hobbling around the past few days after I missed the last step on the stairs and landed on my ankle. I've been laying around with my foot propped up, iced and not wanting to do much of anything. I still have my ankle wrapped but I'm feeling a bit better now and the pain is not so sharp.
This is a painting from a couple of weeks ago, another of my plain abstracted flowers series. I like the monotone of these as much as the colorful ones I'd done.

So sorry to hear about your ankle! Hope it's much better soon.

This painting is so beautiful. I too love the monochromatic palette. Really beautiful work!

This is wonderful. It's amazing how much "color" you created with white on gray

Hi Judy,
So sorry to hear about your injury. I love this painting. White and gray, so difficult to paint. You make it look so easy. It's excellent. Feel better.
