Ozzy

This is a painting of my friend Teresa's cat Ozzy. Yes, one green eye and one blue. I've been told that cats with blue eyes are deaf in the side their eye is blue. I forgot to ask Teresa if Ozzy is deaf in one ear, but yesterday he ignored us when she tried to coax him down the stairs. But then again, cats do do that...ignore us and pretend not to hear.
I think it's wonderful to listen. I strive to be a good listener although sometimes my ADD gets in the way. But I also think that it's Okay to pretend not to hear at times.
"Ozzy"

Oh my, Judy, I am gazing at the pug painting card you sent me (here in my studio), and I can't decide which I like better, your little pug or this gorgeous kitty with the two toned eyes. I am torn...

Ozzy is Awesome! Love the strokes in his fur. Also love the eyes. Aren't you lucky to have such an interesting subject to paint!

Your painting of Ozzy is fabulous! My friend has a dog that has a blue and a brown eye. He's not deaf but he has night vision problems.
