This is a photo of "Max" I found on the Metroport Humane Society's petfinder dog pages. He just looked so sorrowful. I named this painting "Take Me Home". The are too many dogs and cats that are put down every year. A simple solution is to Spay and Neuter your animal. The Metroport Humane Society offers low cost Spay and Neuter Coupons that can be used at participating vets. And if you're in the market for a new pet - please check your local humane society first. You'll be saving a life and getting a wonderful companion - I have two "found" dogs.

Nice soulful painting. It's great that you are using your art to bring attention to the many animals that need adopting. My husband volunteers at our local Humane Society and it is heartbreaking how many don't get adopted. Nice soulful painting.
