The Farm House

"The Farm House"

5.5 x 5.5 inches, oil on board, palette knife

I was having fun with the palette knife and did this little painting...I was talking to a friend about a ancestral farm house - but this is purely imagination. I don't even have a clue what the farm house looks like. Painting from imagination was fun!! It's all make-believe isn't it?

I've listed this one on Ebay - to place a bid - click here.

oh i love painting from the imagination. Actually, now that i think of it, the last time i painted a still life was in art class 6 years ago, and even then i still added fake things in.lol.i drove my teacher insane.

anyways, i love it.and its funny cuz i'm working on a sunflower painting too,and many other painters are as well.i think we all cant wait for summer!

Wow!!! Love the big chunky strokes. This is gorgeous Judy. I especially like the fence and the greenery around the house.

Great imagination! I just adore your paintings. I love the texture that the palette knife gives you!
